Whether it’s making a sales call, handling my four-year-old, or operating a firearm, I want control over all my various skill sets so that I can lead in all the different areas of my life. I don’t need to be the smartest person in the room – I don’t even need to be right – but I do need to be willing to control things.
It takes the same amount of energy to have a great marriage as it does an average one, just as it takes the same amount of energy and effort to make $10 million as it does $10,000.
