I make mistakes every day. I’m not perfect in my behavior, but I want to be and that’s what God is after, a heart that wants to be.

Don’t forget that our moods are connected to our thoughts; therefore, I urge you to take notice of what you’re thinking about when you feel depressed. You may find the source of your problem.
We often ask God to deliver us from the wrong things. We want to be delivered from our trials, but we need to ask Him to deliver us from the things in our hearts that hinder His purposes for our lives.

It is important to forgive quickly. Thankfully, the quicker we forgive, the easier it is to do. God is love, and He forgives and forgets. In order to be like Him, we can develop the same habit. Prayer.

Are you conducting yourself properly so that when the world looks at you it sees God’s character? Ask God to help you be a good witness at all times.
We need time to become rooted and grounded in Christ as we are instructed to do.
We’re all different. You can’t be somebody else, so you might as well get good at being who you are!

The Word of God is medicine for our souls, and we should take our medicine regularly. God’s medicine – His Word – has unlimited refills, and its side effects are life, healing, strength, joy and restoration.
The world is deep in debt and going deeper all the time trying to buy what God offers for free: acceptance, love, approval, worth, value, peace, joy, fulfillment! The bigger house won’t make you feel complete; you will just have more square footage to clean. The newer model car won’t do it; you will just have bigger payments. The promotion at work is not the answer; you will just have more responsibility and probably be required to work longer hours.
Father, I thank You that I don’t have to carry guilt and shame around with me as I go through my life.
The love of God is what heals our wounded souls. It’s what gives us confidence. It’s what gives us courage. Knowing that we are loved perfectly by a perfect, powerful God changes us like nothing else.
We need to start seeing ourselves the way God sees us, because it’s such a healing thing to begin to like yourself instead of being against yourself.
