The way to reduce the pain which you associate with earthly experiences and events-both yours and those of others-is to change the way you behold them.
Seek only to be genuine. Strive to be sincere. If you wish to undo all the “damage” you imagine yourself to have done, demonstrate that in your actions.

Events and experiences are opportunities drawn to you – created by you individually or collectively, through consciousness. Consciousness creates experience. You are attempting to raise your consciousness. You have drawn these opportunities to you in order that you might use them as tools in the creation and experiencing of Who You Are. Who You Are is a being of higher consciousness than you are now exhibiting.
There is nothing in your reality to hold onto. Yet if you do choose the illusion of your life over ultimate reality, you may simply recreate it – just as you created it to begin with. In this way you may have in your life what you choose to have and eliminate from your life what you no longer wish to experience. Yet never resist anything. If you think that by your resistance you will eliminate it, think again. You only plant it more firmly in place.
Judge not, then, the karmic path walked by another. Envy not success, nor pity failure, for you know not what is success or failure in the soul’s reckoning. Call not a thing calamity, nor joyous event, until you decide, or witness, how it is used. For is a death a calamity if it saves the lives of thousands? And is a life a joyous event if it has caused nothing but grief? Yet even this you should not judge, but keep always your own counsel, and allow others theirs.
Jesus’ great gift was that he saw everyone as who they truly are. He refused to accept appearances; he refused to believe what others believed of themselves. He always had a higher thought, and he always invited others to it.
Acceptance of something places you in control of it. That which you deny you cannot control, for you have said it is not there. Therefore what you deny controls you.
In that realm you will know at last the Good News: that your “devil” does not exist, that you are who you always thought you were – goodness and love. Your idea that you might be something else has come from an insane outer world, causing you to act insanely. An outer world of judgment and condemnation. Others have judged you, and from their judgments you have judged yourself.
No. It’s because masters cannot truthfully make the statement that your present construction of marriage seeks to make: that one person is more special to them than another. This is not a statement that a master makes, and it is not a statement that God makes. The fact is that your marriage vows, as you presently construct them, have you making a very un-Godly statement. It is the height of irony that you feel this is the holiest of holy promises, for it is a promise that God would never make.
Enjoy everything. Need nothing. Including people? Including people. Especially people. Needing someone is the fastest way to kill a relationship.
But we all like to feel needed. Then stop it. Like to feel unneeded instead – for the greatest gift you can give someone is the strength and the power not to need you, to need you for nothing.
Because unity is the truth. Separatism is the illusion.
On the other hand, your will is My Will. First, because I know it. Second, because I accept it. Third, because I praise it. Fourth, because I love it. Fifth, because I own it and call it My Own. This means you have free will to do as you wish – and that I make your will Mine, through unconditional love.
The implication is clear. If it’s something you love doing, you should not also be rewarded additionally with money. Most people earn money by doing something they hate – or something that is at least hard work, not endless joy! So the world’s message is: If you feel negatively about it, then you can enjoy it!
No longer will you worship human love, or success, money, or power, nor any symbol thereof. You will set aside these things as a child sets aside toys. Not because they are unworthy, but because you have outgrown them.
Governments understand that help is power. That is why governments offer as much help to as many people as they can get away with – for the more people government helps, the more people help the government. Whom the government supports, supports the government.
The voice within is the loudest voice with which I speak, because it is the closest to you. It is the voice which tells you whether everything else is true or false, right or wrong, good or bad as you have defined it. It is the radar that sets the course, steers the ship, guides the journey if you but let it.
