It’s OKAY to be scared. Being scared means you’re about to do something really, really brave.
The beauty of life is in its shades of light and dark, heartbreak and healing, joy and sadness, laughter and tears. Everything can’t possibly be happy because then NOTHING would be happy.
You haven’t yet learned that your worth isn’t found in him. Or in the man before him. Or in any man at all.
That’s why it’s so dangerous to place our identities in anything other than Christ; people leave and die, jobs end, looks fade, and money is lost.
BEAUTIFUL CERTAINTY: I often need to be reminded that God’s timetable is better than mine. The in-between, the meantime, the waiting – it can all be frustrating, but it is in those moments we are refined, redesigned, and realigned with God’s will as He prepares us to be launched into our next chapter.
Do not use your words on those who deserve your silence; sometimes the best best thing you can do is to say nothing at all.
You wander the planet alone for a longer time than you would have liked because you have a destiny that’s so special, and so important, and so far beyond anything you could have ever imagined for yourself, a relationship before its time would only distract you from fulfilling it.
Underneath all the thousands of seemingly insignificant decisions we make every single day, something bigger is at work, something pushing us toward our destiny. There is a divine plan for our lives. God knows who we are, where we’re meant to be, and how to get us there. He knew.
Nothing, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, happens to you without serving a greater purpose.
It is only after surrendering what we think our lives are supposed to be that we can step into everything that our lives are meant to be.
Often in life we get so caught up in what we don’t have that we forget to be grateful for what we do have. We get so busy asking and seeking and begging and pursuing that we never take time out simply to be. To sit still.
While you spend minutes, hours, days, and even years toiling away at a job that you’re not 100% passionate about, precious time that you could be dedicating to your own dreams dwindles away.
When you live in shackles to other people’s opinions and moods and judgments, it is the equivalent of becoming a human streamer. And you’re better than that. You’re meant to be in the driver’s seat of your life, not running alongside the car, trying to catch up!
Sometimes it takes being left seemingly with nothing to realize that you are everything. To see that you held the key to your own happiness and self-worth and belonging and wholeness all along.
Be grateful for every second of every day that you get to spend with people you love. Life is so very precious.
The really amazing, beautiful, and miraculous thing about walking with God, however, is that even when you stray, He manages to find you. He uses the ugly, dirty things you do while running from Him to draw you back to Himself.
You are FAR too fabulous to cling to someone or something that doesn’t fit you, doesn’t want you, or doesn’t belong to you.
If God requires us to surrender one dream, it may be because He wants to hand us a bigger and better one.
Life is too short for constant struggle and pain. LET IT GO and move on to the beauty and light.
Learn from your failure’s; do not prevent misfortune from teaching you.
You don’t have to defend or explain your decisions to anyone. It’s your life. Live it without apologies.
