Well, at least I had on underwear.
I like when things are hard; I’m very competitive. If something seems difficult or impossible, it interests me.
In a short amount of time, I’ve lived so much, had so many experiences and met so many different types of people and even lived in so many countries. If I had been in school, I’d be learning about the world from books.

For ‘X-Men’ I was lifting a lot of weights. I actually lost a lot of mass when I quit ‘X-Men’ because I was working out so much and very muscular and strong.

I find a certain peace by thinking of me in public as sort of an avatar self. You out there can have the avatar me.

But really, for the most part – doing a prequel is great because you do have room to kind of free this character and how they got to where they are instead of being a slave to exactly what the previous actor did.
I really act for myself. I really love it. I don’t think there’s a way that you could handle these schedules, all of the actual work that goes into it, if you don’t really, really love it.
I never wanted to be an actor. My dad was an actor, and he never brought joy home, so I didn’t view it as something that I would want to do.
