As a witness of the Savior, I exhort you to forgive any you feel may have offended you. If there is transgression, repent of it, that the Master may heal you.
By making choices consistent with eternal truth you will develop righteous character.
The most difficult is the first family, to bring someone out of the world.
Chose to converse with your Father in Heaven often. Make time every day to share your thoughts and feelings with Him.
Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, all will be made right in the Lord’s timing.
Establish specific objectives, and move steadily toward them. A rudder won’t control a drifting boat; it must be underway. Similarly, you need to be moving forward to gain control of your life.
Make covenants and receive ordinances for yourself. Then steadily and consistently work to provide ordinances in the temple for your own ancestors.
It really does no good to ask questions that reflect opposition to the will of God. Rather ask, ‘What am I to do?’
I will consistently strive to learn by what I hear, see, and feel. I will write down the important things I learn, and I will do them.
Trials are not consequences of your disobedience, they are evidence that the Lord feels you are prepared to grow more.
To memorize a scripture is to forge a new friendship.
The endowment and sealing ordinances of the temple are so gloriously rich in meaning that you will want to allow significant time to receive those ordinances and to ponder their meaning.
Sadness, disappointment, and severe challenge are events in life, not life itself.
The Lord will bless us with more baptisms if you make sure the ones you have are going to keep their commitments. The Lord will not prepare more people for baptism if we are not converting the ones we have.
We best serve our Father in Heaven by righteously influencing others and serving them.
Can you hang in there with your investigators when things get going tough? Don’t give up on investigators because they have a little weakness. Work with them until the Holy Ghost tells you not to.
Create an atmosphere for the Spirit. The Spirit must be present.
Conversion is a very, very important part of what you are doing. We will have a responsibility to report to Heavenly Father regarding those we bring into the Church.
Some missionaries are giants in the Spirit and pygmies in skills in the Spirit. Work hard to develop a balance. Your leaders, and you, should teach the skills to each other.
I bear witness that the Savior lives. He loves you. He will guide you through the Holy Ghost as you steadfastly choose to do what is right to a future glorious beyond your dreams. I know He will.
If you seek His help, be sure your life is clean, your motives are worthy, and you’re willing to do what He asks-for He will answer your prayers. He is your loving Father; you are His beloved child. He loves you perfectly and wants to help you.
