Content that sees engagement tells Facebook and the rest of the world that your customers care about your brand, so that when you finally do put out something that would directly benefit your bottom line – a coupon, a free-shipping offer, or some other call to action – 4 percent of your community sees it instead of a half percent, which gives you a much better chance at making a sale. You should never automate your content to pretend you’re generating the content right then and there – in other words, to help you fake a human interaction. Ever. Especially tweets, for reasons you’ll read about below. That.

It’s a matter of survival to think beyond your current successes and constantly look for ways to create new ones so that you’re never limited to any one platform or even one topic.
