I started to find that music was something that really brought a lot of joy into my life, and it was sort of cool because I discovered that I had a gift for it, too. So the stuff I would listen to I could play along, I could sing along.

High school is meant to be socialism for beginners. Instead, it becomes a strange TV movie for the feudal system. You end up with a commingling of everything bad in the world.
Anything exceptional gets crushed by common people with jealousy and ignorance and all their common evils.
But I am no Lord of the Hill; these hands pitching fastballs at glass houses are just as dirty as yours are.
The difference between knowing yourself and trusting yourself is minute, but its repercussions are infinite.
