Treat all as your own self. Do not have a double standard.
You must be a Lotus, unfolding its petals when the Sun rises in the sky, unaffected by the slush where it is born or even the water which sustains it.
If you strive to find your Self by using your mind, you will strive and strive in vain, because the mind cannot give you the Truth. You are that Self. All else is illusion of the mind’s creation.
Agriculture is for living; mind culture is for life. Skills are for shaping material things so that they cater more for the comfort of man; studies are for shaping attitudes, feelings, desires, emotions and impulses of man, so that they may confer more peace, more joy and more fortitude on man.
Death happens to the body with which it is associated, with which it mixes. The delusion that the body is the core, that the body is real, that verily is the death.
Don’t follow the mind. Don’t follow the body. Follow the Conscience. That is the main principle of this text. So we should follow our Conscience.

Eating meat and drinking liquor are demonic vices. Those indulging in drink lose all sense of propriety, have no compassion or love and become demons.
When you stick to the path of Truth and Righteousness, pain and poverty haunt you. But they are only clouds passing through the sky, hiding for a little time, the splendor of the Sun.
Krishna insisted on outer cleanliness and inner cleansing. Clean clothes and clean minds are an ideal combination.
No bird casts the seed on land to grow food for itself, nor do beasts plough and enclose fields claiming – this is mine, this is for my children and children’s children -.
God is to be recognized in all that exists, all that is charming, suffering, blooming or drooping.
Be discriminating when dispensing charity. In the name of charity or philanthropy, we tend to do injustice to one’s country.
Men seek the causes for death but no one seeks the Divine source of life.
He alone is a redeemed being who causes no pain to others and avoids pain to himself.
The eye sees the physical body, other individuals, even insects, worms and things. It sees everything that is within its range. The body too is a thing that the eye sees, along with the rest. So, how can we conclude that the body is the I?
Affliction by that falsehood is the act of dying. To be free from that delusion is to attain Immortality.
Drop the delusion that you have become old or diseased, or that you have become weak and debilitated. Some people begin to count the years and grieve over advancing age and shudder like cowards afraid of death. But remember, elation is heaven, despondency is hell. Have always some work to do, and do it well that you will get joy.
Spiritual discipline is the cultivation of Love. Be full of Love. taste the exhilaration that Love can confer. Let everyone see your exuberant with light and joy.
The moment you resent a person, you become his slave. Living with resentment is like drinking poison and expecting the other guy to get sick. The person who is the focus of your animosity may be feeling just fine, enjoying life, and not troubled while you are letting them rent space in your brain. Resentment gives you illusions of strength.
