I discovered that success has very little to do with education or race or disposition; it has more to do with principles and following those principles.
Each of us was conceived by destiny, produced by purpose and packaged with potential to live a meaningful, fulfilling life. Deep within you lies a seed of greatness waiting to be germinated... be provoked to unbridle the silent wealth of power that is screaming for exposure.
True potential and fulfillment in life is not what is accomplished, but who benefits from them. Your.
Twentieth-century man needs to be reminded at times that work is not the result of the Fall. Man was made to work, because the God who made him was a “working God.” Man was made to be creative, with his mind and his hands. Work is part of the dignity of his existence. – Sinclair Ferguson.
Work is God’s gift to help you discover your potential.
You must never allow your human weakness to disqualify you for what God has planned for you. Your failures do not prove that you are wicked; they simply prove that you are human. Though you are filled with God, it’s important to remember that you’re a human being who is filled with God. – Don Nori, The Prayer God Loves to Answer.
The ultimate goal of all personal and national authority is freedom.
Deliverance is not the same as freedom. Deliverance is release from the oppressor, but freedom is deliverance from oppression.
There is truly no greater burden than freedom, no heavier load than liberty.
Remember that no matter how great a leader you become, you could lose everything that you’ve gained due to a lack of character.
Males and females are in a state of gender upheaval and confusion.
The wealthiest place in the world is not the gold mines of South America or the oil fields of Iraq or Iran. They are not the diamond mines of South Africa or the banks of the world. The wealthiest place on the planet is just down the road. It is the cemetery. There lie buried companies that were never started, inventions that were never made, bestselling books that were never written, and masterpieces that were never painted. In the cemetery is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potential.
The ninth verse is part of His discourse on prayer: “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
This is why it’s so important to have a constant diet of the Word of God, so that it will get down into your heart. It will nourish your heart so that, when you experience troubles, the Word is what will come out of your mouth, and you will create what the Word says.
Once more, we must realize that when men are ignorant of their true identity, it affects not only their own callings and fulfillment, but also that of their families and of society as a whole. This is because God has given males a unique leadership influence. As the man goes, so goes the family, society, and the world.
Holiness isn’t some mystical, nebulous, weird, smoky, cloudy presence. It’s very practical and real. Holiness means “one” – not the number one, but one in the sense of “complete.” Holiness denotes the concept of being integrated. Integrated comes from the same word as integrity. God has integrity because what He says, what He does, and who He is are the same. That’s exactly what holiness.
Yet James said that if we doubt, we are being double-minded. That means that we don’t have integrity – we’re not holy. Since God is holy, we also have to be holy if we want to receive answers to our prayers.
Proverbs 19:21 is a foundational Scripture in regard to understanding God’s purpose: “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
God laid men as the foundation of the family, and we need to be careful not to allow any cracks in our character. If you see a crack developing, fix it immediately! Do not let it get any bigger, or the whole structure may collapse. You may think that character lapses affect only you, but they also affect those entrusted to your protection, teaching, and care. Evaluate the current state of your character and take steps to correct what you see. In doing so, you will strengthen your entire family.
All of mankind’s problems are a result of one major dilemma. What’s this dilemma? Possession without comprehension; assignment without instruction; resources without knowledge; having everything but not knowing why. Essentially, the dilemma is that we lack understanding. Without understanding, life is an experiment, and frustration is the reward.
Prayer is therefore not an option for mankind but a necessity. If we don’t pray, heaven cannot interfere in earth’s affairs. It is imperative that we take responsibility for the earth and determine what happens here by our prayer lives.
