I now suspect that if we work with machines the world will seem to us to be a machine, but if we work with living creatures the world will appear to us as a living creature.

We feel the old fabric torn, pulling apart, and we know how much we have loved each other.
Maybe the world is waiting for you to give yourself to it. Maybe it’s only then that things can work themselves out.
