Let your smile change the world, but don’t let the world change your smile.
Life should be more about living in the moment than fearing what’s happening outside it. It’s about honoring what you want to do at any given time, regardless of what everyone else is doing. There’s no use worrying about things that are out of your control.
Success involves failing first. Ask any successful person. Ask any experienced person, really. It’s all part of the creative process, so sit back and allow the artist within you to sprout, blossom and flourish. You must accept that your first, second, and third attempt at something might suck. It’s a necessary step in improving your skill. Failure is your teacher, not your judge.
Know this too: Some people won’t like you, and you won’t like everyone. That’s okay. None of that matters. I’ve learned from you, I need to go up now.
I surprise myself all the time by doing and accomplishing things I had never thought possible.
You are who you are in this given moment. Label-less. Limitless.
Ranking where people stand in your life and who they are to you helps you determine who you value the most and therefore where best to spend your time.
I can choose to either consciously live in fear of the unknown or melt into life’s warm embrace.
In suffering, you‘ve found a greater understanding and appreciation for all of life‘s wonders.
It’s hard to accept who we are, with all our imperfections.
Gender is specific only to your reproductive organs.
It allows you to be yourself, good and bad. And it’s a two-way street: you give and take equally.
Age might relieve many things, but it doesn’t ease our discomfort with uncertainty. The mind seeks clarity, but our souls prefer to wander into ambiguity.
