God is just waiting for you to turn your face back toward Him. You’ve not gone too far!
It’s never fun when we’re in the midst of the storm. But when we land someplace we know we never could have found on our own, it is a beautiful thing.
When you accept the fact that God is determined about you and you add to it your determination about Him, I am telling you there’ll be no stopping you from fulfilling the absolutely God-ordained destiny He has for you.
Cynicism is carnality that thinks its smart.
God is the only one who truly gets it because He knows the intimate ways of our minds and hearts.
For the most part I write very stream of consciousness. I basically need to be recording an entire writing session because it’s almost like I black out and just start singing whatever is on my mind and forget it as soon as I stop.
Writing songs always trumps whatever else was on the schedule, it really is the most important and can be so fickle, you have to grab it when it’s there.
If we are leading but not closely following Christ, we are misleading.
Regardless of who has betrayed you and what promises they didn’t keep- God is firm in His commitment to you.
God is who He says He is. God can do what He says He can do. I am who God says I am. I can do all things through Christ. God’s Word is alive and active in me.

God has so much for you, Dear One. And, yes, seasons will come when He requires so much from you that you feel like you can’t bear it. You do have a choice. You don’t have to do it His way. I try to accept the words of Joshua 24:15 as a personal daily challenge: “Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve.
We were created to be full. When we’re not filled with the good things Christ came to bring us, we will grasp at anything as a substitute. An unsatisfied soul is an accident waiting to happen.
Paul didn’t just see emotions. He saw the need they represented.
Meanness at church sometimes exceeds anything that occurs in secular surroundings.
Ask about the ancient paths: Which is the way to what is good? Then take it and find rest for yourselves. Jeremiah 6:16.
God does not save us to make us forget our heritage, but to complete it.
I don’t believe God allows surrendered hearts to continue to long for things He will not ultimately grant in one way or another. Our disappointment with God is often the result of our small thinking.
Not everyone in a stronghold of sin is having a good time. Many people who by the grace of God have never been “had” by the devil wrongly assume that all departures from godliness are nothing but defiance, rebellion, and proofs of inauthenticity They have no idea of the suffering involved when someone with a genuine heart for God slips from the path.
