Die to the past every moment. You don’t need it. Only refer to it when it is absolutely relevant to the present. Feel the power of this moment and the fullness of Being. Feel your presence.
For spiritual teachers, it is important not to identify with the image people inevitably have of them.
Neither failure nor success has the power to change your inner state of Being.
Nonresistance, nonjudgment, and nonattachment are the three aspects of true freedom and enlightened living.

Wisdom comes with the ability to be still. Just look and just listen. No more is needed. Being still, looking, and listening activates the non-conceptual intelligence within you. Let stillness direct your words and actions.
The eternal present is the space within which your whole life unfolds, the one factor that remains constant. Life is now. There was never a time when your life was not now, nor will there ever be.
If we don’t change, if the egoic consciousness continues, I don’t believe that humanity as a species can survive, or at least human civilization can survive, for another hundred years.
All cravings are the mind seeking salvation or fulfillment in external things and in the future as a substitute for the joy of Being.
The egoic madness, or dysfunction, becomes enormously amplified by the science and technology we all have developed.
Be at least as interested in what goes on inside you as what happens outside. If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place.
Nothing ever happened in the past that can prevent you from being present now, and if the past cant prevent you from being present now, what power does it have?
You can’t wait for the end of your problems for you to be present. It has to be done whereever you are – which is now.
Internal and external are ultimately one. When you no longer perceive the world as hostile, there is no more fear, and when there is no more fear, you think, speak and act differently. Love and compassion arise, and they affect the world.
