I’m really a very fifties housewife.
I never had a time line for my life. I didn’t say I wanted to be married at 28 and have three kids by the time I was 32.
I have a personal trainer who comes over at least four times a week and kicks my butt. I get so sore that I can’t even walk.
I grew up on a ranch with my father, so he educated us really early on about guns. We used to go target shooting all the time.
I do want to have a family at some point. I also want to adopt. I don’t feel pressure to have kids because I know that there are so many out there.
I am treated no different than the other girls.
I am honored to be here as co-chair of President Obama’s re-election campaign.
Everybody needs a chance to find love.
When you’re fighting for social justice, one of my biggest pet peeves is speaking out of ignorance.
I like being small – I’ve known so many women with big boobs who feel overweight or end up with back problems.
I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn’t see!
That’s not who we are as a nation, and let me tell you why: Because the Eva Longoria who worked at Wendy’s flipping burgers – she needed a tax break. But the Eva Longoria who works on movie sets does not.
I believe, as they say, that you can’t be what you don’t see, and since I saw a lot of smart women in my life, education being at the center, I just mimicked that behavior.
There’s no amount of money that would make me decide something for a career.
Hold on to the love, not the loss.
I’m super careful with my skin and make sure to protect it. I always sit under an umbrella. And I’m a sunblock bully. If you’re on the beach with me, I will spray you down with SPF 50-plus.
My mom had four kids, one with special needs. She had a full-time job, and she still came home and made dinner for us every night, from scratch. It was amazing.
You’re never too old or too busy to continue your educatioan!
In my family, there was one cardinal priority – education. College was not an option; it was mandatory. So even though we didn’t have a lot of money, we made it work. I signed up for financial aid, Pell Grants, work study, anything I could.
I don’t regret anything I ever do or say. I don’t like to live my life being censored. I like to say what I feel, and I think people respect that because you’re honest.
