That’s what I feel like I’m called to do – to plant a seed of hope in people’s hearts.
Be a victor, not a victim.
Again I think my gift is bringing hope to everybody, and I don’t want someone to look at me and say, “I would listen to him, I like what he’s saying, but he’s this or that politically and that turns me off.”
Your best days are still out in front of you.
God’s dream is that you have an abundance, that you be totally out of debt, pay your house off, pay your credit cards off, and have so much overflow that you can be a blessing to everyone around you!
If your dream dies, dream another one. If things don’t work out the way you’ve planned, God has a better plan for you.
Your idea may not be exactly God’s idea, but I can promise you this: God’s way will be better than your way.
Hold on to that new, enlarge vision of victory that God has given you. Start expecting things to change in your favor. Dare to boldly declare that you are standing strong against the forces of darkness.
Take time to make a difference. Don’t just obsess about how you can make your life better. Think about how you can make somebody else’s life better as well.
When my dad founded our church, he used either a globe or a map of the world behind him. It was symbolic of what Christ said: to go forth and preach hope to the world. We believe in the cross, but we just continued with the globe.
No matter how many times you get knocked down, keep getting back up. God sees your resolve. He sees your determination. And when you do everything you can do, that’s when God will step in and do what you can’t do.
Truth is, no two people are completely compatible. We have to learn to become one. That means we may have to make sacrifices; we may have to overlook some things. We must be willing to compromise for the good of the relationship.
It’s flattering to people who stop you and say that you’ve helped them and all. But, again, you know, you’ve got to stay humble because as quick as you came up, you can come down.
If we will do our part and take a strong stand for our families, God will do His part. He’ll help us to have great marriages and great relationships with our parents and children.
When I hear Mitt Romney say that he believes that Jesus is the Son of God, that He’s the Christ, raised from the dead, that He’s his savior – that’s good enough for me.
We live in a day that nobody’s lived in before: where you can touch more people. The message I’ll speak tonight and the message that I speak at home, people in India will hear. It’s just an amazing day.
Life begins each morning.
If it’s not meeting a need, turn it into a seed. Remember, we will reap what we sow. When you do good for other people, that’s when God is going to make sure that His abundant blessings overtake you.
When people are around us, they should leave better off than they were previously. Rather than feeling discouraged or defeated, people should feel challenged and inspired after spending any time with you and me.
See, people are watching you. Especially your children. They’re taking in every single thing you do. They are like video cameras with legs. And they are always in the record mode. They learn more from what you do than from what you say.
