What others say and do cannot stop you from fulfilling your destiny. Your destiny was handed down by Almighty God.
You are not defined by your past. You are prepared by your past.
Too often we judge people based on our own backgrounds and experiences, but when you understand people’s stories, it’s easier to understand their demeanor.
Sometimes you have to smile by faith. If you’ll smile by faith, soon the joy will follow.
There is a place that God has specifically designed for you where all your needs will be supplied, where you’ll be happy and fulfilled, and where you’ll be using your gifts and talents to the full.
Sometimes, God uses difficult people, like sandpaper, to rub the rough edges off us.
Some people keep God in a Sunday morning box and say, ‘Hey, I did my religious duty.’ That’s fine, but the scripture says to pray without ceasing. And I think that means all through the day you’re talking to God. Even if it’s in your thoughts.
You see somebody down, that’s lonely, take them to lunch. Encourage them.

We can all control our own destiny. And I think sometimes it’s a copout to say, “Well, it’s this person’s fault or another person’s fault.”
We live in a society that likes to kick people when they’re down. Don’t be a fair-weather friend. Stick with people. They need you more in the tough times than they do in the good times.
I realize that as quick as you go up, you can really come down that quick. And we’ve seen it happen with others.
God honors obedience, and He has distinct plans for us. I think the dreams that God puts in our hearts, we can fulfill. He’s equipped us for that.
I’ve learned a simple principle: all I have to do is be the best ‘me’ that I can be. One day when I read the Scripture about David, that he fulfilled his purpose for his generation. I knew God spoke to me.
You cannot soar with the eagles as long as you hang out with the turkeys.
God has already lined up the right people for you, people that will inspire you, challenge you and motivate you. If you’ll let go of the wrong people, then the right people will show up.
God can make greatness out of a great mess.
Today, decide not to speak negatively about yourself. When you criticize yourself, you are criticizing God’s very own creation.
