According to the World Health Organization, an average of Rs. 6500 per person was lost in India due to lack of cleanliness and hygiene. Swachh Bharat would make a significant impact on public health and in safeguarding income of the poor, ultimately contributing to the national economy.
If sports do not hold significance in our life, we cannot nurture sportsman spirit as a “Sanskar” in our society and without such “Sanskars”, the society cannot flourish!
Mother India has 250 crore arms, majority of which are of the youth, who have the capacity to fulfil India’s dreams!
I don’t look at sports as something which merely tones up the body. I look at it as a tool of education that stimulates the mind and brings in a culture of discipline.
In order to make India prosperous, all sections and regions of the society needed to be prosperous.

Reforms are not an end in itself. Reforms must have a concrete objective.
A major institutional reform is the move away from merely planning, to transforming India. The setting up of NITI Aayog, is a step in this direction.
First, we need to focus government on the things that are required of the State. Second, we need to achieve competence in government so that the State delivers on the things it sets out to do.
Society and Government should together give priority to the poorest of poor and make efforts to provide affordable health services.
What is Maximum Governance, Minimum Government? It means government has no business to be in business.
Government systems suffer from two weaknesses. They are complex. And they are slow. We need to change this. Our systems need to be made sharp, effective, fast and flexible. This requires simplification of processes and having trust in citizens. This needs a Policy Driven State.
During freedom struggle, It were authors and artists who made the Nation stand with their pen, and now their pen can create an environment of renaissance when Independent India is on the path of Good Governance.
Development must be such that it positively transforms the lives of the common people.
