Even though I’m big on recipes, I love to make up my own dishes and when you take a risk in the kitchen, you learn a lot about food!
I love yoga because it’s very calming for your body and your spirit. It gives you that meditative state, and its 90 minutes where you can get away from the world and just be, and exist in the moment. I need yoga. It’s part of my life, and I can’t imagine not doing it.
Part of life and part of the enjoyment of life is a croissant and a chocolate cake and eggs and milkshakes and oatmeal. There’s so many things, you have to learn to appreciate it all. When I don’t eat as much as I should, I’m not fun to be around; I’m fussy.
I’d love to hear what confident, intelligent women in the industry have to say: Rachel McAdams, Carey Mulligan, Angelina Jolie, Kristen Wiig and Tina Fey. I would stand in line all day for that panel.
I love cheeseburgers and chocolate – milk, not dark, and hot chocolate with marshmallows in the winter!
I’m kind of a globetrotter. I’ve been traveling since I was born and living in different locations.
When we do get a little time off, I tend to watch movies, go to dinners, and keep it low-key.
I’m like the female version of George Clooney in ‘Up in the Air.’ I have to have an eye mask, and Amore Pacific has this cream face mask that’s moisturizing. Moisture is so important in the stuffy, dry air on a plane.
People aren’t defined by their relationships. The whole point is being true to yourself and not losing yourself in relationships, whether romances or friendships.
I know a lot of people dread going to work every morning, but my work is playing pretend and doing stunts and screaming. It’s a lot of fun and I get to play dress up. Every day is exciting and different and new and cool. I couldn’t be more grateful.
I want to go to Harry Potter Land! I actually should text Emma Watson to see if she can hook us up with a backstage pass or something. That’s the perk of doing a movie with Emma called ‘The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.’
I mean everybody’s got ex-boyfriends and girlfriends. Everybody’s got baggage.
With every job you get more comfortable, you do better, you’re more confident.
I’m not just going to accept something because it’s a lot of money. I’m an artist; content is incredibly important to me.
I only want to keep moving up and up in terms of quality and be careful with perception. I don’t just want to do things that are the pretty girl with lots of makeup, I want to get into the gritty stuff and get down and dirty and dark and really feed my soul and not my vanity.
I love playing confused, broken characters.
The things and the projects that I want to be a part of are not the ones that I get offered. I get offered a lot, but it’s not what I’m interested in. So I have to fight very hard for the things that I want to do and to work with the filmmakers that I want to work with.
It’s challenging and interesting for me to work on projects that are unique and unconventional. I’m so bored with seeing the same recycled material.
I’m bored with the same genre, the same remakes of things. I like original ideas and high-concept things where it’s off the page and kind of fantastical.
If you looked at my feet, you would know for sure that I used to do ballet. They’re completely destroyed and ripped up.
