Your past will not determine the future that God has for you.
Jesus is your very present help in time of need. Whatever your struggle is today, you can know beyond the shadow of a doubt that He is with you and knows exactly how to help you.
Christianity is not about doing right to become righteous. It is all about believing right in Jesus to become righteous.
Just because someone is with you physically, it does not mean that the person feels appreciated by you. Appreciation only occurs when you start acknowledging the presence of that person.
If we discern the Lord’s body, we will walk in His health and wholeness.
Whatever is keeping you down, be it frequent bouts of depression, self-doubt, or fear, there is a person Who has the power to turn everything around for your good. His name is Jesus.
Jesus’ unmerited favor will protect, deliver, prosper, bring restoration to and provide for you. His unmerited favor will transform you into wholeness, and it is the goodness of God, not your striving and self-efforts, that will lead you to live victoriously for His glory.
Believe with all your heart that He cares for you and that you are not alone in this journey. You have a constant companion in Jesus on this great adventure called life.
Christianity is not about behavior modification. It is about inward heart transformation.
Long before the enemy can steal your victory, he steals your song. Long before he can steal your joy, he steals your praise.
This idea that grace will cause people to sin without restraint is from the pit of hell. You cannot be under grace and not be holy any more than you can be underwater and not be wet! It is being under grace that gives you the power to live a victorious life.
The good news of Jesus always liberates and His perfect love removes every fear.
Grace contravenes the traditions of man. It makes nothing of man’s own efforts and makes everything of Jesus Christ.
Now, listen carefully to what I am saying. I am not advocating a life of passiveness and laziness. You can take up courses, read books, do your work diligently and so on, but your trust must not be in these things. It must be in what Jesus has done for you. So if you are a student, for example, by all means, study hard. Score straight As for the glory of God! But don’t trust in your intelligence or qualifications to bring you the blessings of God.
In the new covenant, God’s way is to bless you first, and the knowledge of His blessing gives you the power to labor more abundantly. In other words, we do not labor to be blessed, but rather we have the power to labor because we are already blessed.
Knowing you are protected from condemnation will cause you to reign over that sin, addiction or depression that is holding you in bondage today.
The presence of Jesus is all that you need. It is exciting to enjoy His presence daily in everything.
If you can change what you believe, you can change your life!
Under law, the burden is on you to perform. Under grace, the burden is on what Christ has performed on the cross.
