The purpose of life is to be happy. I don’t think it’s any more complicated than that. It’s also important not to interfere with anybody else’s right to do the same. We just need to practice that. It’s the Golden Rule.
Stop giving energy to the things you don’t want.
It is impossible for you to be angry and laugh at the same time. Anger and laughter are mutually exclusive and you have the power to choose either.
Attachment to being right creates suffering. When you have a choice to be right, or to be kind, choose kind and watch your suffering disappear.
Once you see a child’s self-image begin to improve, you will see significant gains in achievement areas, but even more important, you will see a child who is beginning to enjoy life more.
In this universe, which was created by a divine organizing intelligence, there are simply no accidents.
Everything is perfect in the universe – even your desire to improve it.
There’s nothing wrong with anger provided you use it constructively.
Live one day at a time emphasizing ethics rather than rules.
Be content. Know that whatever comes along, you can handle it and grow from it.
In interactions with others, instead of trying to be right, why don’t we try being kind?
Neither your family nor your culture gave you your personality. You created it yourself.
The unseen energy that was once in Shakespeare or Picasso or Galileo or any human form, is also available to all of us. That is because the spirit energy does not die, it simply changes form.
