When we choose to love, or to allow our minds to be one with God, then life is peaceful. When we turn away from love, the pain sets in. And whether we love, or close our hearts to love, is a mental choice we make, every moment of every day.
Forgiveness is a full time job, and sometimes very difficult. Few of us always succeed, yet making the effort is our most noble calling. It is the world’s only real chance to begin again. A radical forgiveness is a complete letting go of the past, in any personal relationship, as well as in any collective drama.
Your human self might be in hell right now, but your divine self is literally untouched by your suffering. And your divine self is who you are.

Examining the past can help clarify many of our problems, but healing doesn’t occur in the past. It occurs in the present.
