Each of us has a unique part to play in the healing of the world.
Your human self might be in hell right now, but your divine self is literally untouched by your suffering. And your divine self is who you are.

Examining the past can help clarify many of our problems, but healing doesn’t occur in the past. It occurs in the present. The goal of spiritual practice is full recovery, and the only thing you need to recover from is a fractured sense of self. If you don’t already believe it yourself, another person cannot convince you you’re okay.
