Some people think it’s naive to think we can make love our new bottom line. What I believe is naive is thinking human civilization as we know it will survive another two hundred years if we do not.
Your human self might be in hell right now, but your divine self is literally untouched by your suffering. And your divine self is who you are.

The goal of spiritual practice is full recovery, and the only thing you need to recover from is a fractured sense of self. If you don’t already believe it yourself, another person cannot convince you you’re okay.
