The thing about the movie ‘Navy SEALs’ is that it was just such a waste. The script could’ve been shaped to be much better, and you just hate to see all that talent and passion go to waste.
And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead!
To be perfectly honest with you, I was partying a lot in school. I didn’t have any good study habits from high school because I just kind of got by on being a jock.
Right before Mag Seven I did a movie called The Bull Rider.
I don’t like gratuitous violence. I don’t like the ‘Saw’ movies. I don’t like the ‘Hostel’ movies. I don’t like anything that is violence for violence’s sake.
I think every director’s different. Every director’s got his own style. I mean, when I directed, I basically just screamed for eight hours a day, twelve hours a day.
I think I’m prouder of ‘The Victim’ than anything else, just because, if nothing else, it doesn’t look silly, it doesn’t look stupid. It holds up. It’s fun. A lot of people have enjoyed it, and I’m real happy about it.
Johnny Ringo to me was just the best antagonist that I’ve ever played, because I played him as a guy who has a death wish and had done everything that he wanted in life. As far as he was concerned, a gun fight was about as exciting as it was going to get.
I thought if I could be a model, or even do commercials and stuff like that for the rest of my life, I’d be happy.
Listen and understand. That Terminator is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

I am much more involved in the filmmaking experience on Mag Seven. I’m much more involved in story elements, casting decisions, the writing of the show, the blocking of the scenes.

I’d rather have a small part in a good film with good people than play the lead in something I don’t really care for.
Unforgiven, I think, is the best Western ever.
When I was a kid I used to go to the movies, double features in outdoor theaters, and my parents used to take us to see like, ‘Cat On a Hot Tin Roof’ or something like that, with Elizabeth Taylor.
