The practice of forgiveness is our most important contribution to the healing of the world.

With age, you start growing ambivalent about excitement. You might say that you want it, but at the same time you’re not sure you have the energy for it. The goal of spiritual practice is full recovery, and the only thing you need to recover from is a fractured sense of self. If you don’t already believe it yourself, another person cannot convince you you’re okay.
