Browsing a stack is a unique experience: that feeling of being attracted by a book, by its cover or typography. What makes me melancholy is the thought of books disappearing from libraries.
These aren’t accidents. They are significant choices, like the choice of a totemic animal: something in your spirit aligns with theirs.
