You need no time to open yourself to the power of now and so awaken to who you are beyond name and form and realize that in the depth of your being, you are already complete, whole, one with the timeless essence of all life.
The ego wants to want more than it wants to have. And so the shallow satisfaction of having is always replaced by more wanting.
As soon as the mind and mind identification return; you’re no longer yourself but a mental image of yourself, and you start playing games and roles again to get your ego needs met.
For many people, illness – loss of health – represents the crisis situation that triggers an awakening. With serious illness comes awareness of your own mortality, the greatest loss of all.
The actual experience of awakening can only be in the present moment.

The false self lives mainly through memory and anticipation. Past and future are its main preoccupation.
Not until you surrender does the spiritual dimension become a living reality in your life. When you do, the energy you emanate and that then runs your life is of a much higher vibrational frequency than the mind energy that still runs the world.
True happiness is found in simple, seemingly unremarkable things.
To be conscious of Being, you need to reclaim consciousness from the mind. This is one of the most essential tasks on your spiritual journey.
