Not until you surrender does the spiritual dimension become a living reality in your life. When you do, the energy you emanate and that then runs your life is of a much higher vibrational frequency than the mind energy that still runs the world.
True happiness is found in simple, seemingly unremarkable things.
To be conscious of Being, you need to reclaim consciousness from the mind. This is one of the most essential tasks on your spiritual journey.
As soon as you honor the present moment, all unhappiness and struggle dissolve.
Stress is wanting something to be the way it isn’t.

Become friendly with the present moment, because if you do not become friendly with the present moment you cannot become friendly with life.
Because we all carry the Truth within us as our essence, we recognize it immediately.
Since ancient times, spiritual masters of all traditions have pointed to the Now as the key to the spiritual dimension. Despite this, it seems to have remained a secret.
That is the challenge of a spiritual teacher: not to take on board the projections of specialness people have. This is especially dangerous for spiritual teachers who only have contact with disciples or followers, who may live in an ashram.
And since the now is all there ever is in your life, your entire life unfolds as the present moment. People don’t realize it, but all they ever have is “this”. This moment.
Non-reaction is not weakness, but strength!
When there’s somebody there who is transparent enough so that the stillness comes through unhindered, there’s a reciprocal movement in you because the presence of stillness suddenly recognizes itself.
If I cannot live with myself, there must be two of me: the ‘I’ and the ‘self’ that ‘I’ cannot live with. Maybe, I thought, only one of them is real.
In a fully functional organism, an emotion has a very short life span. It is like a momentary ripple or wave on the surface of your Being.
Acceptance of what is immediately frees you from mind identification and thus reconnects you with Being. Resistance is the mind.
Once you realize that a certain kind of food makes you sick, would you carry on eating that food and keep on asserting that it’s okay to be sick?
Whatever you think people are withholding from you-praise, appreciation, assistance, loving care, and so on-give it to them.
When you recognize this, you also realize that you are now free to give up this futile conflict, this inner state of war.
