Please open your eyes now, but keep attention in the inner energy field of the body as you look around the room. The inner body lies at the threshold between your form identity and your essence identity, your true nature. Never lose touch with it.
Let go of thought, become still and alert, and don’t try to understand or explain.
Only by awakening can you know the true meaning of that word.
When you lose touch with yourself, you lose yourself in the world.
Whatever you fight, you strengthen, and what you resist, persists.
True intelligence operates silently. Stillness is where creativity and solutions to problems are found.

Action arising out of suffering is contaminated with suffering and causes further suffering, and that is karma. Action that arises out of a state of “acceptance” is totally free of karma. And there is a vast difference.
Most people treat the present moment as if it were an obstacle that they need to overcome. Since the present moment is life itself, it is an insane way to live.
The word enlightenment conjures up the idea of some superhuman accomplishment, and the ego likes to keep it that way, but it is simply your natural state of felt oneness with Being.
How do you let go of attachment to things? Don’t even try. It’s impossible. Attachment to things drops away by itself when you no longer seek to find yourself in them.
Stop looking outside for scraps of pleasure or fulfillment, for validation, security, or love – you have a treasure within that is infinitely greater than anything the world can offer.
When there is spiritual awakening, you awaken into the fullness, the aliveness, and also the sacredness of now. You were absent, asleep, and now you are present, awake.
The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but thought about it. Be aware of the thoughts you are thinking. Separate them from the situation, which is always neutral. It is as it is.
The foundation of greatness is honoring the small things of the present moment, instead of pursuing the idea of greatness.
With awareness there comes choice. And so you are able to say: “I allow this moment to be as it is”. And then, suddenly, where before there was irritation, there is now a sense of aliveness and peace. And out of that comes right action.
Now if a teacher gives you a practice, he or she would perhaps point out when you don’t need it anymore or you realize yourself when you don’t need it anymore.
Is there a difference between happiness and inner peace? Yes. Happiness depends on conditions being perceived as positive; inner peace does not.
Being at ease with not knowing is crucial for answers to come to you.
