Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don’t know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings.
In our time together, you claimed a special place in my heart, one I’ll carry with me forever and that no one can ever replace.
To learn to read is to light a fire; every syllable that is spelled out is a spark.
But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

Jesus invites us to abide in his love. That means to dwell with all that I am in him. It is an invitation to a total belonging, to full intimacy, to an unlimited being-with. The light of the Spirit reveals to us that love conquers all fear.
God gives us people to love and things to use, not things to love and people to use.
I love to read. I wish I could advise more people to read. There’s a whole new world in books. If you can’t afford to travel, you travel mentally through reading. You can see anything and go any place you want to in reading.
I grew up reading ‘The Jungle Books’ and loving them.
I don’t like books that play to the gallery, but I’ve become more concerned with telling a story as clearly and engagingly as I can.
It may be that the books that were best liked in your lifetime are not the ones that are best liked 100 years later.
