At the end of my life I want to be able to say I contributed more than I criticized.

This is the only chance you will ever have on earth with this exciting adventure called life. So why not plan it, and try to live it as richly, as happily as possible?

To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it.
Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.
A life without passion is not living, it’s merely existing.
