Life is available only in the present moment.
It is not impermanence that makes us suffer. What makes us suffer is wanting things to be permanent when they are not.
Here is my secret: I don’t mind what happens.

Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.
There is no way to peace. Peace is the way.
Life is short and the time of death is uncertain; so apply yourself to meditation. Avoid doing evil, and acquire merit, to the best of your ability, even at the cost of life itself. In short: Act so that you have no cause to be ashamed of yourselves and hold fast to this rule.
Practice peace, change your world.
Don’t be too quick to interpret the moment. Just keep quiet. My encouragement would always be: never think anything is against you, everything is blessing. Why should it be different? Just be quiet. Let it all work itself out.
When you drop all your ideas, fantasies and projections about who you are and what freedom is and remain completely empty, this is freedom.
To change the world is not your mission. To change yourself is not your duty. To awaken to your true nature is your opportunity.
Don’t belong to anything. Don’t belong to anyone. Just Be. Feel your Being first and foremost, and don’t compare or compete. Just Be your Being.
You already are, the peace you are looking for. Be still and know that.
If there is no peace in the minds of individuals, how can there be peace in the world? Make peace in your own mind first.
