Take the limits off of yourself. You will never rise higher than your thinking. Create a great vision for your life.
God has destined you to soar. You have victory, freedom and excellence on the inside.
If you want to be happy, you have to be happy on purpose. When you wake up, you can’t just wait to see what kind of day you’ll have. You have to decide what kind of day you’ll have.
God made you a masterpiece – be blessed, secure, disciplined and equipped.
Don’t go into the new year holding a grudge from last year. Leave the hurts and disappointments behind.
Make up your mind that no matter what comes your way, no matter how difficult, no matter how unfair, you will do more than simply survive. You will thrive in spite of it.
God would not have put a dream in your heart if He had not already given you everything you need to fulfill it.
Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is going to determine how you’re going to live your life.
Don’t just accept whatever comes your way in life. You were born to win; you were born for greatness; you were created to be a champion in life.
To reach up for the new, you must let go of the old. What lies behind you is not nearly as important as what lies in front of you.
You know what? I’m not going to beat myself up. I did the best I can do, and so I’m going to believe that – I’m going to believe good things about myself.
There are a lot of decisions we pass up on because we think, “You know what? That’s just going to build – you know, maybe that’s going to build me and not build the ministry and what I’m trying to do.” So we pass up on a lot of opportunities.
Back in Bible days, there were these famous schools of the prophets, but some of the ones Jesus chose didn’t come through that route – and not to say that they weren’t good, but I’m comfortable.
I see people – they won’t be negative toward other people, but inside they’re negative toward themselves, and I think that holds us back.
God is a good God, and that he’s on our side, and that he has great things in store and I believe that as we receive the forgiveness that Christ came and was born and died to give us, then we can live a great life.
So many people talk about themselves: “I’m unattractive, my mind’s so slow, and I can’t do this.” And you know what I tell them? “God didn’t make a mistake when He made you. You need to see yourself as God sees you.”
There’s a lot of negative things trying to pull people down, and I think people respond when you tell them that hey, there are good things up ahead.
I like to start my day off every morning, take the first half hour and just search my own heart, see if I’m on the right course, try to be honest with myself – am I doing this for the right reasons?
I try to teach people that I believe God wants us to be positive toward ourselves, meaning that, you know what, I like the way I look, I like the way I sound, I’m happy with what I’m doing in my career – and not always be beating ourselves down.
I’m not perfect, but I think that I’ve done good to stay focused on what I’m called to do.
We deal with people that are going through divorces and that are facing life-threatening illnesses, and I’m giving them hope. And to me, I don’t think there’s anything “lite” about that.
