To persevere, I think, is important for everybody. Don’t give up, don’t give in. There’s always an answer to everything.
Never give up, no matter what.
Remember why you started, remember where you’re headed, think of how great it will be to get there, and keep going.
Don’t make excuses for why you can’t get it done. Focus on all the reasons why you must make it happen.
Don’t think about what can happen in a month. Don’t think about what can happen in a year. Just focus on the 24 hours in front of you and do what you can to get closer to where you want to be.
Fall in love with the process, and the results will come.
Champions keep going when they don’t have anything left in their tank!
I’ve gotta breathe it, I’ve gotta eat it, I’ve gotta sleep it and until you get there you will never be successful in life. But once you get there I guarantee you, the world is yours. So work hard, and you can have whatever it is that you want.
Don’t quit. You’re already in pain. You’re already hurt. Get a reward from it!
If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again.
It’s okay to be discouraged. It’s not okay to quit. To know you want to quit but to plant your feet and keep inching closer until you take the impenetrable fortress you’ve decided to lay siege to in your own life – that’s persistence.
It hurts, but that’s all it does. The most difficult part of the training is training your mind. You build calluses on your feet to endure the road. You build calluses on your mind to endure the pain. There’s only one way to do that. You have to get out there and run.
Everybody comes to a point in their life when they want to quit. But it’s what you do at that moment that determines who you are.

Failure is an option. It’s what you do with the failure that makes you who you are. Our failures mold us. I have failed at several things in my life. What sets some of us apart, is that when we fail, we can’t sleep at night. It haunts us until we have our time at redemption.

Don’t waste your time chasing butterflies. Mend your garden, and the butterflies will come.
If you want a thing bad enough to go out and fight for it, to work day and night for it, to give up your time, your peace and your sleep for it If all that you dream and scheme is about it and life seems useless and worthless without it; If you gladly sweat for, fret for and plan for it and lose all your terror of the opposition for it; If you simply go after that thing that you want with all of your capacity, strength and sagacity, faith, hope and confidence and stern for tenacity; If neither cold or poverty, famish or gout, sickness or pain of body and brain can keep you away from the thing that you want; If dogged and grim you be size and beget it, with the help of GOD you will get it.
Push yourself, because no one else is going to do it for you.
It is not the critic who counts, not the one who points out how the strong man stumbled or how the doer of deeds might have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred with sweat and dust and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause; who, if he wins, knows the triumph of high achievement; and who, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.
