My leadership began to take flight when I allowed myself to press people to change-whether they thanked me or cursed me.
If you want to be great, you can’t be great by yourself. You gotta to bring people around you. As the the challenge escalates, the need for teamwork elevates. The greater the challenge, the better the team.
Leadership deals with people and their dynamics, which are continually changing. The challenge of leadership is to create change and facilitate growth.

Discipline – Success doesn’t just happen. You have to be intentional about it, and that takes discipline.
While we don’t always get what we want, we always get what we choose.
Practice the 101 Percent Principle. Whenever possible, find the 1 percent you do agree on in a difficult situation, and give it 100 percent of your effort.
If you wouldn’t follow yourself, why should anyone else?
Out of what I had received in my development, I was also able to give. The confidence I gained from personal growth gave me credibility and made me believe I could start developing others. And in that, I found life’s greatest joy and reward.
The truth is that you can spend your life any way you want, but you can spend it only once.
If you are willing to change your thinking, you can change your feelings. If you change your feelings, you can change your actions. And changing your actions – based on good thinking – can change your life.
Some of my best thinking is done by others.
You cannot buy or win happiness. You must choose it.
Our challenge is to think right in a wrong world. Our challenge is to think positive in a negative world.
If everyone doesn’t pay the price to win, then everyone will pay the price of losing.
Leaders who fail to prune their pride will meet demise. That’s not a guess, it’s a guarantee. With pride, it’s not a matter of ‘if’ we will fall, but ‘when.’ There are no exceptions.
I can afford to take a risk in my life. Only the insecure cannot afford to risk failure. The secure can be honest about themselves. They can admit failure. They are able to seek help and try again. They can change.
Hope sings when all melodies are gone.
