Meditate. Breathe consciously. Listen. Pay attention. Treasure every moment. Make the connection.
Doing is never enough if you neglect being.
Meditation is the discovery that the point of life is always arrived at in the immediate moment.
Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
Happiness is your nature. It is not wrong to desire it. What is wrong is seeking it outside when it is inside.
Stretch your mind and fly.
If it isn’t good, let it die. If it doesn’t die, make it good.
Mindfulness isn’t difficult, we just need to remember to do it.
Everything is just now. Your existence is just now. Just timeless Now. All the rest is just a dream due to conditioning and memory.
Observe the reality as it is. As it is, not as you wish it to be. Perhaps your breath is deep. Perhaps your breath is shallow. Perhaps you breathed in through the left nostril. Perhaps you breathed in through the right nostril. It makes no difference.
Mindfulness is a mental activity that in due course eliminates all suffering.
Focus on the present moment. Stay in the moment.
World is a dance. Mindfulness is witnessing that dance.
All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If people speak or act with evil thoughts, pain follows them. If people speak or act with pure thoughts, happiness follows them, like a shadow that never leaves them.
The trouble is, you think you have time.
If you know something hurtful and not true, don’t say it. If you know something hurtful and true, don’t say it. If you know something helpful but not true, don’t say it. If you know something helpful and true, find the right time to say it.
Mindfulness of the body leads to nirvana.
Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible.
Mindfulness is the aware, balanced acceptance of the present experience. It isn’t more complicated that that. It is opening to or recieving the present moment, pleasant or unpleasant, just as it is, without either clinging to it or rejecting it.
Still the mind. Inhale peace. Let go of worries. Exhale stress. Notice the breath. Connect to all. Embrace calm.
