Today is the most important day of our lives.
Everybody has a story. And there’s something to be learned from every experience.
Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us. Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.
The smallest change in perspective can transform a life. What tiny attitude adjustment might turn your world around?
There is only one way to see things, until someone shows us how to look at them with different eyes.
Since you alone are responsible for your thoughts, only you can change them.
Impossible is just an opinion.
Let us remember the past with gratitude, live the present with enthusiasm, and look forward to the future with confidence.
Don’t compare your path with anybody else’s. Your path is unique to you.
Stuff your eyes with wonder, live as if you’d drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.
Enjoy life – you only get one.
Study me as much as you like, you will not know me, for I differ in a hundred ways from what you see me to be. Put yourself behind my eyes and see me as I see myself, for I have chosen to dwell in a place you cannot see.
Free your heart from hatred – forgive. Free your mind from worries – most never happen. Live simply and appreciate what you have. Give more. Expect less.
We see the world, not as it is, but as we are – or, as we are conditioned to see it. When we open our mouths to describe what we see, we in effect describe ourselves, our perceptions, our paradigms.
We think we see the world as it is, when in fact we see the world as we are.
Life happens not to me but for me.
The only people without problems are those in cemeteries. It is not what happens to us that separates failures from successes. It is how we perceive and what we do about what happens that makes the difference.
My teacher Jim Rohn taught me a simple principle: every day, stand guard at the door of your mind, and you alone decide what thoughts and beliefs you let into your life. For they will shape whether you feel rich or poor, cursed or blessed.
No one can take away my freedom to choose how I will react.
I would say that life at 84, I am having as much fun as I’ve ever had in my life. I mean I get to do what I love every day with the people I love-and it just doesn’t get any better than that.
