We are here to awaken from our illusion of separateness.
Only the present moment contains life.
Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.
Observe your thoughts, don’t believe them.
The past doesn’t determine your future unless you carry it with you into the present. Forgiving yourself and others, you free the universe to begin again at any moment.
Life is available only in the present moment.
It is not impermanence that makes us suffer. What makes us suffer is wanting things to be permanent when they are not.
Here is my secret: I don’t mind what happens.
Now is the time to take back your energy, your power, and your peace.
If you wish to see the truth, then hold no opinion for or against.
You are not the mind. If you know you are not the mind, then what difference does it make if it’s busy or quiet? You are not the mind.
Realize that your world is only a reflection of yourself and stop finding fault with the reflection. Attend to yourself, set yourself right; mentally and emotionally. The physical self will follow automatically.
Simply look at whatever happens and know that you are beyond it.
You begin by letting thoughts flow and watching them. The very observation slows down the mind till it stops altogether. Once the mind is quiet, keep it quiet. Don’t get bored with peace, be in it, go deeper into it.
Give up all ideas about yourself and simply be.
The attitude of silent observation is the very foundation of yoga. You see the picture, but you are not the picture.
Letting go a little brings a little peace. Letting go a lot brings a lot of peace. Letting go completely brings complete peace.
Yoga is a mirror to look at ourselves from within.
Yoga allows you to find an inner peace that is not ruffled and riled by the endless stresses and struggles of life.
Self-care is never a selfish act – it is only good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer others.
