People just don’t understand how obsessed I am with winning.
When a show fails to destroy the competition (and it can fail while attracting 20 million viewers), it is itself destroyed.
You might not be able to outthink, outmarket or outspend your competition, but you can outwork them.
So many times people are afraid of competition, when it should bring out the best in us. We all have talents and abilities, so why be intimidated by other people’s skills?
Being afraid on the court means you’re not confident of your skills.

To be successful you have to be selfish, or else you never achieve. And once you get to your highest level, then you have to be unselfish. Stay reachable. Stay in touch. Don’t isolate.
Success isn’t something you chase. It’s something you have to put forth the effort for constantly. Then maybe it’ll come when you least expect it. Most people don’t understand that.
You have competition every day because you set such high standards for yourself that you have to go out every day and live up to that.
I’m too fast. I’m too smart. I’m too pretty.
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses – behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.
In a competition of love we’ll all share in the victory, no matter who comes first.
And if we’re all one, we need to stop our competition with each other. Most of the decisions we make are about survival and winning.
There is always someone out there getting better than you by training harder than you.
No individual can win a game by himself.
Don’t steal – the government hates competition!
Inside the Great Mystery that is, we don’t really own anything. What is this competition we feel then, before we go, one at a time, through the same gate?
Mental toughness is essential to success.
