When we meet real tragedy in life, we can react in two ways – either by losing hope and falling into self-destructive habits, or by using the challenge to find our inner strength.
If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.
If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present.
The seed of suffering in you may be strong, but don’t wait until you have no more suffering before allowing yourself to be happy.
Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor.

In mindfulness one is not only restful and happy, but alert and awake. Meditation is not evasion; it is a serene encounter with reality.
If we do not know how to take care of ourselves and to love ourselves, we cannot take care of the people we love. Loving oneself is the foundation for loving another person.
All blame is a waste of time. No matter how much fault you find with another, it will not change you.
No one can create negativity or stress within you. Only you can do that by virtue of how you process your world.
Accept – then act. Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it. Make it your friend and ally, not your enemy. This will miraculously transform your whole life.
I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.
Meditation makes you sharper, happier, and intuitive. Don’t you want intuition? Don’t you want the right thought to come to you at the right time?
Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow. It empties today of its strength.
